Shoreditch Works: Regenerative business hub

We are excited to share with you our proposals for ‘Shoreditch Works’, an innovative large-scale regeneration project in South Shoreditch, encompassing most of the properties between Worship Street, Holywell Row, Scrutton Street and Curtain Road.

The project is led by Linea Properties Ltd, a partnership between two long-standing investors and developers, The Estate Office Shoreditch Ltd and HDG Ltd, both with over fifty years’ experience of working in Hackney.

The proposed development comprises twelve buildings and publicly accessible open space spread over the 1.7-hectare site. These buildings will not only honour Shoreditch’s legacy of craftsmanship, community, and enterprise but will also generate new job opportunities and provide much-needed housing.

Yet, the development aims to be more than just a collection of buildings; it is designed to be a platform for fostering Hackney and London’s world-class talent. We envision Shoreditch Works as a dynamic, vibrant, community-focused mixed-use development uniquely blending social value with cultural innovation. Our approach is to create a ‘regenerative business hub’, where various activities and enterprises are intricately connected, enabling a continuous social, economic, and environmental sustainability cycle.

Engaging with the local community is a priority for us. We have initiated a public consultation program starting from 11th December, 2023 to capture the community’s input and feedback before submitting our planning application to Hackney Council next year.
