London’s First
Regenerative
Business Hub

Built on circular economy principles, the Hub drives net-positive outcomes: cutting waste, keeping resources in use, restoring natural systems and supporting community initiatives with lasting impact.

Rooted in Hackney but globally focused, the Regenerative Business Hub will enhance a sense of place, build resilience and help empower purpose-driven enterprises to deliver solutions that resonate far beyond the local community.

The Regenerative Business Hub platform combines commercial ambition with community, cultural and environmental betterment. The accompanying infographic shows how the Hub’s thematic approach connects businesses, residents and project partners to drive lasting change. The expandable sections below highlight how Shoreditch Works’ programmes, spaces and partnerships are embedded within the Regenerative Business Hub-both now and into the future.

A fashion startup within the Centre partners with local textile recyclers introduced by Green Lab to establish a closed-loop system, transforming discarded clothing into new designs. This effort reduces waste and aligns with circular economy principles.

The Centre provides affordable workspace and facilities tailored for businesses in the sustainable and circular economy sectors. This support offers essential resources for startups focused on developing innovative solutions that contribute to environmental sustainability.

Mentoring and co-working programmes for underrepresented founders, granting access to resources, networks, and investment opportunities. This initiative fosters diversity and innovation, contributing to a more equitable business landscape.

A Centre-based restaurant collaborates with nearby food markets to source surplus ingredients, reducing food waste while creating affordable, high-quality meals. This approach strengthens local supply chains and promotes community well-being.

Artists, designers, and digital creators use the Centre’s spaces to showcase works that explore sustainability, regeneration, and social impact. These exhibitions stimulate dialogue and collaboration, enriching the cultural fabric of our community.
